   Decent, but could be better
   I really like the features on this marking gauge, but there are some annoying points. Overall, it’s well made and will get the job done. I really like the attachment to use a pen/pencil/scribe. The two roller pin side is neat too and sold me on this particular product. That said, the rotary blade does not sit flush with the base, like my Titemark. A small counter sink will resolve this issue to protect the blade when in storage. The knurled lock knob needs to be a tad larger for easier turning. O-rings in the base for the measuring shaft would have been nice too. It would prevent the rod from rapidly shifting/rotating all the time. The graduations are nice and easy to read, though I prefer a rule with dual readings; metric and imperial. This unit is only metric. I use other means to set the distance than the gauge markings. A few tweaks and this product would be stellar.

   Very well built tool.
   I use it in the collision industry for marking wheel opening lines for metal and filler repairs. It works great with the dual rollers to mark my lines in the correct spot. The only objection is the placement on the measurement marks, they put them right where the screw tighten’s with the potential to destroy the measure.

   fell apart in under 1 week
   while the scale on the device’s cylinder is an accurate measurement read, a line of measured reference to what you are scribing would have been useful. Hell, I thought they were mandatory.I have many many complaints about his item. however, I’ll skip to the fact that the threaded screw hole to keep the plastic scribing/pen holder in place was semi-stripped and skewed when I received it. Did I mention it was cheap, thin plastic? The measurement cylinder rod could not stay in place and constantly backed the pressure screw off and slide.

    The wheel end of the marking guage is okay. I really liked the idea of being able to attach a pencil and use the rollers. Unfortunately, when you clamp in your pencil it’s almost the same height as the rollers and there is not enough roller surface on your reference face. Good idea, bad design. If the rollers were a half inch longer the guage would work a lot better but it’s really difficult and flimsy to use with it’s design.
