Better than expected
I was a bit wary of buying a plug cutter that had no reviews and not a recognized brand name. But I needed it fast, and I could get this one overnight, so I took a chance. I was pleasantly surprised. The tool seems well-made, and it certainly performed well. The plugs I cut were clean and fit perfectly in my 25mm holes. I cannot attest to how it would hold up in a production environment, but for a hobbyist, this is a bargain purchase.Note that this has a 1/2″ shank and is not to be used in a drill; it needs to be used in a drill press.

Rather than buy a pre-made plug for an errant 35mm hinge hole I bought this. It cut perfectly and I am happy with the results.

Arrived on time, well packaged – item was in a plastic bag within a light cardboard box. Physically the piece looked well made and sturdy. Edge was sharp.Once I’ve had a chance to use it I’ll know better how it performs.
