The Unsung Hero of Wood Nerds Everywhere
If you’ve ever wanted to feel like a 19th-century craftsman with a degree in aerospace engineering, this is the tool for you.First of all, it’s aluminum alloy—which is fancy talk for “metal that won’t rust when you cry on it after miscutting a $60 board.” The wheel glides across wood smoother than a dad joke at a barbecue, and the etched mm scale is so precise it probably knows your social security number. It locks into place like a vault, marks like a snobby calligraphy pen, and won’t roll off your workbench unless you actively *yeet* it. Bonus: no beeping, no batteries, and no app that randomly forgets your settings. This thing is built so well it might outlive your entire workshop (and possibly your will to finish that one project you started three months ago). In short: if a measuring tape and a samurai had a baby, it would be this gauge.Highly recommended for anyone who likes wood, tools, or pretending they’re on a reality show called “America’s Next Top Dovetail.”

Well made, nicely designed, bargain marking gauge
This is a nice marking gauge — not a Veritas but quite nice, especially for the $17 price when ordered (there’s a coupon even now when writing this review, making it closer to $15). It’s well made, sold, and nicely finished. It’s aluminum, so won’t rust and won’t damage most surfaces. The scale is clearly marked. The adjustment is smooth and precise. It rolls smoothly and makes a clean mark. Just as you’d expect. The only downside for USA woodworkers may be the metric scale– there is no inch scale –which means making conversions if you aren’t running a metric shop. (Which you probably should, once you start using metric tapes and scales it all suddenly becomes easier.) Recommended for woodworkers in any case as a nice tool at a great price.

    Useful gadget for woodworking
I like woodworking and could use a gadget like this. It’s useful for marking straight lines parallel to the edge of wood pieces. I used to carry ling piece heavy straight edge for that but guess can keep it in my storage from now on.

5 stars for 100% sure on this product. This is made of high quality alloy solid weight wood deep cutting marker. I really like this marker easy to adjust the deep cutting mark. The cutting mark is moving very smooth and making a shape cutting mark on wood easy. The piece is a professional grade tool like a piece of art. Good price. 100% I would recommended this tool to my friends.

I’ve been using the WEWOD Wheel Marking Gauge for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite woodworking tools. The aluminum alloy feels solid and well-made, and the wheel rolls smoothly for perfectly straight, precise lines. I love the clear mm scale—it makes marking depths and cuts effortless, and pairing it with a marking knife gives me those crisp, clean lines every time. It’s comfortable to hold, easy to adjust, and just plain satisfying to use. For anyone serious about woodworking, this gauge is a total must-have.
