Works With Phillips Screws, But Eliminates Cam-Out.
I like Phillips screws because they keep the screwdriver in place, unlike slotted screws where the screwdriver can slide sideways. Unfortunately, a Phillips screwdriver will cam out of the screwhead when the turning force gets too high. I recently learned of JIS drive screwdrivers and how, even they are for Japanese screws, they will also fit Phillips screws but are designed to eliminate cam-out.The VESSEL – ARMOR GRIP Screwdriver set has one of each of the standard sizes that correspond to the same Phillips screw sizes. The set seems well made with nice cushioned handles and magnetized tips. I tried each with a Phillips screw and the fit was exact. I am adding this set to my screwdriver drawer and will call upon them any time I need their extra screwhead grip. I will also seek out a set of JIS driver bits for my power tools.

Good low priced alternative to the Megadora line. Essential for working on Japanese vehicles.
I have had a set of the Vessel Megadora series JIS screwdrivers for a few years and found they are extremely high quality. I purchased this set as a second set to use in my portable tool box so that my first set can stay in the shop. They fit JIS crosspoint screws just as tightly as the Megadora drivers. These appear to be very good quality and are an economical alternative to the larger Megadora set if all you need is the JIS cross point drivers. JIS crosspoint screwdrivers are essential when servicing Japanese vehicles and electronics. JIS screws are usually identified with a single dot on the head. Phillips screwdrivers will damage the JIS screws.

Great value for the Price!
I already own the Vessel Megadora Impacta screwdriver set which are amazing and more expensive, but I wanted another set to use on dirty jobs and to have backup. This small set fits the bill cost a lot less. The handles are much harder than the comfort grips of the Megadora’s, but will be easier to clean and are quite grippy. They are also much lighter in feeling yet feel strong. For sure this is the best set for the DIYer or as an extra set for the pro-sumer. I wish it came with some EVA foam for optional storage in a cart or large tool box, but most will hang them in the cart or peg board, or place them in a portable tool box.

Great quality, good value
If you are working on Japanese motorcycles these are a must have item. Not more stripped or âcammedâ out JIS cross or âPhillipsâ screw heads. Contoured handle for comfort and a good grip. Good quality, no Harbor Freight cheapies here. Slightly magnetized to securely hold small screws while installing or removing.

I have red the reviews about this screwdrivers and most of them were positive , but there was a few negative and when I received the item I was surprised people left negative reviews I am very happy with it so far.It is a very good quality you can tell ,it has a nice rubbery handle does not slip and the finish on this is excellent for $19 I payed it is a very good value for sure.Some people mentioned it’s not made in Japan ,Not a problem It made in Thailand very good tools comes out from Thailand as well.If you looking for JIS screwdrivers this one is highly recommended!Yow will be happy what you getting for your money!!Also some people said the handle has a rubber coating to me it is more like a thick molded rubber Casing rather than a coating that would wear of so I don’t think that will be a problem later .I hope you will enjoy using yours!I love to own quality tools ,they last a long time this one gives me that vibe .If you need one get this one you will be Happy with it .This set has a wide range of sizes from small to big. All comes handy for Electrician work or working on engines, or delicate audio electronics Cd players, Amplifiers that needs a nice fitting screwdriver so the screw heads being preserved not deformed!Only issue I had is the box came in a padded envelope and the box was crushed at one end …But how many people would keep this in the box not many so that is ok , it will go in to your tool chest or tool box drawer .

Good quality screw head gripping power
These definitely are a good gripping screwdriver for JIS screws. The right tool for the job. I like the feel of the handles, easy to grip. They have been great for working on small items made in China. I need to get another set with longer blades.

Items received, 5 days early. Have not used yet so will add to review later after use. They are made by vessel in Thailand not Japan which probably explains the bargain price. Packaging was nothing to write home about, but the screwdrivers look OK. Work out at about £6 each. Handles feel comfy and useful enough. Feel solid like very hard rubber. The branding is printed so will probably wear off. Hopefully the other reviews are reliable!. I’ve wanted a jis set for a while and these weren’t much more expensive than the bargain brands. Would have felt better if they had been made in Japan. That was derogatory years ago but we all know that was proved wrong!.
