okay, so I was fearful that these wouldn’t hold the suction. But I did a ‘sample’ and stuffed the large bag FULL of clothing items and vacuum sealed it with the device included with the box, and I left it alone for days. Still vacuum sealed perfectly. Even after taking off the screw cap, it kept the seal! GREAT product! love that it comes with it’s own pump small enough for travel.

Pretty sturdy and Does the Job
1st I wanted to mention that I bought this, because of my experience with Ekster (high priced vacuumed sealed travel bag). I had high hopes for that, as from the “reviews” that I read it was top notched and shrunk down the clothes to not take much room in the luggage. However, It does not hold a seal, once I took out the air, it inflated back again within a minute. I made sure that the bag was air tight and tried sucking the air out again. To no avail. I did return it since I was within the 100 day return window. I searched Amazon and came across this one. (Although there were only 14 reviews all giving it 5 stars, I thought I’d give it a try). I have had experience with these types of bags and was not disappointed, so I went ahead and purchased them; they were on sale from $29.99 to $23.99 for six bags and a pump…thought if it doesn’t work I can always return it, since it is an Amazon purchase. Below is my review.Right out of the box, the bags seem a bit on the flimsy side, but I put that aside, as I wanted to know if it would hold up when I sucked the air out. I put maybe 3 pairs of shorts & tank tops, along with 3 additional shirts in the small bag and sucked out the air. I did this yesterday afternoon, August 22, 2025 around 4pm. It is Saturday morning, August 23rd and the compression has held. (5 stars)When using the enclosed air pump, it was on the loud side, but it did the trick without me having to pull out a vacuum. Portability to be able to put in my suitcase. (3 stars)As far as freeing up some space, it does do that and I am packing a carryon for my way back to Dallas from San Diego. I am having high hopes that this will free up space in my luggage where I don’t have to check it. I’m not foreseeing any issues, but if I do, I will be sure to update my review.Am happy with this purchase and would purchase more for my husband and dad, when we go on our international tripe in the next few months.

Suck it Up!
Purchased for a trip to Spain & Portugal. We committed to only taking a small carry/on each to make traveling to 3 cities easier. These vacuum bags worked great. Clothes do not wrinkle. Easy to use, the take along pump is small and fits into the suitcase easily. I was able to fit all my clothes and some of my wife’s in my suitcase along either guts purchases along the way.Definitely recommend. A.+++

These are worth the price
Used them for the first time yesterday. Suitcase was totally full, we repacked using the bags and now have lots of room to bring back souvenirs on the trip! The electric vacuum worked effectively and the plastic bags seem sturdy and good for many more trips to come. Be sure to bring a zipper closure with you because although they give you many, they aren’t attached to the bags. They are separate. Bags did seal well. I recommend this product.

Best way to pack!
These vacuum seal bags are such wonderful purchase for travel! I put all of my clothes I was traveling to Europe with for over 3 weeks into 5 assorted bag sizes provided in this set. I opened and re-vacuum sealed the bags repeatedly and they never leaked, never broke—just kept my items nicely sealed for space while traveling! I used my 50 quart hiking backpack and having my clothes nicely compressed provided me so much space in my bag! I will always use these while traveling for now on. I used the manual pump with no problem at all. It also packed easily in my backpack for continued and convenient use.

Good battery on the vacuum
This is a great product – in fact if I had only received the 3 larger bags and vacuum it would’ve been 5 stars but the smaller bags are too small to really use for any space savings so the 3 smaller bags are kind of a waste. The vacuum does last for a while on a full charge – I have used it about 18 times so far and it still has most of the battery charge left. The bags do seal well and they seal fairly easily compared to other brands.
