Hubby Loves It â Rebuilding Everything in Sight
I bought the TOOLIOM 135A Stick/Lift TIG Welder for my husband, and he absolutely loves it! From the moment he unpacked it, heâs been using it to rebuild and repair just about everything he can get his hands on.The LCD display is clear and easy to read, and the machine is surprisingly lightweight and portable, which makes it super convenient for home projects. Lightweight if you are a novice like me it will take a while for you to get use to it but it works well the price is reasonable and it is very functional It is pretty small looks big on the photo almost 9 in in length And three and a half inches in width

Good little diy home project machine.
Works well for small projects. I was able to use a 1/8 7018 rod just got to get it set up just right. Will like to see how it does with 220 volts. Did work really good on stainless with 1/8 308 rod ran a very nice bead.

Note: All examples were done using 220 volts.UPS brought this little guy to my house today. After unboxing, first thing I did was check the DC open voltage with a multimeter. Unit checked out 80 v. much better than stated voltage of 65v. I turned the amps all the way up and it read 138 amps. I hooked the unit up at little welding station I have down in the barn. I used electrode and grounding cables from another welder (these cables are heavier that what came with the unit). Time to weld. I first used Forney E7018AC 3/32. Amps set at 80. Struck an arc and keep it lit on first try. Welded like butter. Very impressed. Next I tried 6010 3/32 on DCEP (electrode on positive) 80 amps. Too cold. Gradually cranked it up to 100 amps before I could keep the arc lit and weld. I then reversed cable polarity. Arc popped and cracked and sounded almost scary. I turned the amps down to 60 amps and was able to weld but keeping the arc lit was a challenge. Lastly, I tried Forney E7018 1/8. I had to max out the amps before I could weld.Conclusion: Runs 7018AC 3/32 like a dream. Runs 6010 3/32 kind of sort of if ground clamp is on pos and electrode is on neg (DCPN). I can make it work but not a lot of fun. I did not try 6013 or 6011 but I think it should run those rods up to 1/8 without much problem. It will weld 7018 1/8 but that is max it can do. I am not disappointed with my purchase.Day 3 up date. I have been welding with 6011 and 6013 both 3/32 in and 1/8 in rods. This little guy runs those rods great. Runs 6013 so easy I think I could train my dog to weld with it. Great Buy !!!!!!

Need to be on a 30 – 40 amp circuit
Great starter welder. The plug this machine is plugged into should be on a 30 – 40 amp 120v breaker. If you do not you will trip the breaker a lot. Great buy zero problems.

I was skeptical. It sure feels cheap when you pick it up. That said, it worked fine out of the box and paid for itself in one single small repair job on a piece of machinery that was broken and a replacement part was unavailable. The weld wasn’t the prettiest but I’m willing to take the blame for that. For the price, if it gets you out of a jam a few times, it’s well worth it.

For a 110v welder it actually performs extremely well.Definitely for the price range, just tried it with some 6013 1/8 rods and after a few tries works flawlessly. Best, amateur welder and actually puts out a pretty decent weld
