Upgraded from my plastic gun after years of usage, I literally couldn’t think of a time this thing has failed me. Absolute must have! If you use a standard caulking gun youâll feel spoiled after you use this one instead.Cons-Literally everyone on the job site wants to use your caulk ð

Upgrade to your old caulk gun
Siligun Pro, solid aluminum body, lightweight and easy to hold. The trigger is pressure sensitive so the more you squeeze, the faster the caulk comes out. Takes very little pressure to use. Appears to work only with plastic tubes, cardboard style probably wonât feed as well due to the split feature. Itâs nice to cut off back of used tube and you have a much smaller tool. Only real complaint, the seal punch in the handle isnât easy to get out, solid and pretty tight.

I love this thing. Just convienient. Had to get the metal one lol the guys at work had to get a couple themselves when they saw mine so you know it works and looks cool when you cut a tube at the halfway point and you can sneak into places a normal caulk gun cant

Unusable
This is supposed to pull the tube of caulk through and cut a small slit in the bottom as it goes. The blade is either missing or dull because it never cut the tube, just smashed it and made a mess. Overpriced even if it worked, and it doesnât work.

Decent gun
They work for most caulking applications however I did run into a couple of issues: some slightly oversized caulk tubes for roofing wouldn’t fit and also the metal coated tubes wouldn’t cut obviously

Incredible tool for homeowners
This tool is not a toy, it really works. Yes it has shortcomings, however the great ability it gives you to caulk tight spaces is just fantastic.Yes it does have a sandpaper like compression grip to hold the tube. How long will it last-longer than I home owner will ever need to use. will it work for contractors-I say yes however just for tight spaces not an entire house caulk job, day after day.Caveats-When finished1. Use a water clean up caulk.2. Cut off the empty tube that is extruded out the back leaving 1 inch-this will assist removing the tube3. Remove the tube( release the compression clutch, and while still depressing clutch you can gently tap the cut tube on a flat surface and the tube will come out-just wiggle it a little bit.4. There will be some caulk on the inside mechanism-clean it out-use your faucet sprayer to wash out the small residue.5.Shake water out and towel off water.

Ya era hora que alguien pensase en una pistola que no se deforme al apretar con fuerza, o no se salga la silicona aunque dejes de apretar el gatillo. Está muy bien diseñada y al soltar el gatillo, o lo que es lo mismo, dejar de inyectar, el sistema deja de hacer presión y no se derrama nada. Una maravilla.

Es wundert mich daà der Siligun eher unbekannt ist.Es ist ein absoluter Gamechanger.Der Preis ist gerechtfertigt.Gerade in unzugänglichen Stellen nahezu Perfekt.Ich habe schon viel Blödsinn gekauft aber Siligun kann ich mit ruhigen Gewissen empfehlen.Einfach geil !

I just received this new gun for caulking and so far it’s pretty good. Now, I’m coming using cheap and cheerful silicone/ caulking tube guns, to try this. The good is the quality is excellent. Really well constructed and robust feel. As the tube empties, the gun slices the back of the tube, which is good and bad. Good because it’s easier to cut it off, but bad because the slicing blade stops you from twisting the gun inside the gun. This matters when you want to adjust the angle of the nozzle, but can’t…..like you could with a cheap gun. Also, releasing pressure on the tube is not that easy and you will always have caulk dripping out the end. Maybe I just need to get more used to it.
