The on bike tool you didn’t know you needed!
The tool you didn’t know you needed. I first bought the Ultimate as I travel a lot and though skeptical I had fallen in love with it, accurate pressure, great battery life, very convenient to use and it has a home in my bike travel kit bag. So I figured the micro would be perfect in my saddle pack and replace my manual pump. I mounted 3, 700x32c tires from zero to 72 psi (max pressure) on a single charge. Quite surprised at how quickly it inflated the tires, using the included short hose there is no issue with temperature for TPU tubes. Yes, it does get warm but no issues even with TPU tubes. So it seems the marketing claims are correct and I’m confident that on a typical ride this would handle a couple of punctures easily, even on my gravel bike. It’s very compact, charges quickly, and fits easily in my Silca Mattone Grande seat pack. I have many Silca tools and bits of kit, quality stuff, well designed, and has never let me down. Pricey, yes, but I feel in Silca’s case you get what you pay for.

    Silca Elletrico Rocks!
Works so well that it is incredible. Display shows an accurate measurement of the tire pressure, psi or bar.

Really wanted to like the unit, but not a practical alternative to CO2 for me
After seeing a lot of good reviews on different sites, I was excited to use the Silca Elettrico. The pump is all metal, solidly built, looks like it is meant to last and small enough to easily fit in my Rockbros mini bike bag with a couple of tubes, tire levers and small set of tools.I charged the pump prior to trying it to ensure it had a full charge and attempted to inflate one of my tires from flat to 83psi.Found that unless I pressed the pump down onto the valve stem pretty hard, it would turn off automatically. After 3 attempts got the tire inflated to 83psi but the valve stem was extremely hot to the touch, to the point that 15sec after inflating the tire I still burned my finger trying to screw the presta valve nut closed.I then tried to inflate my other tire from flat to 83psi using the provided extension hose and presta adapter. Found that the hose was really too short so had to hold the pump while also pressing the hose’s presta adapter firmly onto the valve stem. The pump kept shutting off and the adapter got quite hot as well and I ended up having to grab a rag so that I could keep holding it. Several attempts and 3min later trying to inflate the tire, the pump shut off and its display showed the message HOT, ie the unit had overheated. Battery indicator also showed it was down to 1 bar, out of 3.I really wanted to like this pump and be able to ditch CO2 cartridges, however the difficulty inflating a tire, that a metal valve stem got too hot to touch after a successful inflation and even the valve adapter got uncomfortably hot, I don’t think this pump will be a practical alternative for me, especially as I want to start using TPU tubes that have plastic valve stems (afraid they may break with the amount of pressure I had to apply and may melt due to the extreme heat generated), so I am reluctantly returning the pump.

    NOT a rebadged Cycplus AS2
The Silca Electtrico is not simply a rebadged Cycplus AS2. For one it has different bore and stroke allowing for more volume with a lower max PSI. If you’re running 19mm at 120+PSI buy the Cycplus. The Silca is 100 psi max which is more than enough. I’ll never be above 60. Plus it fits perfectly in my saddle bag, also Silca ;)Check out Josh’s YouTube vid for all the changes. All I can say is it works great for my use!

    Incredible Tool
Absolutely fantastic product. Saved me from long walks home twice now. Pumped a 29×2.6 from 5 psi to 50 psi in less than two minutes. I don’t know how I lived without this for so long. Won’t leave home without it ever again.

Does a great job topping off your tires before a ride
For me this little toy is a game changer. I absolutely love it everybody I ride with loves it and loves the entire premise of these small pumps. As for the other reviewers claiming that it will not see a tubeless tire? Well no freaking kidding. Many floor pumps will not seat a mountain bike tire either that is why we have large volume air compressors. This is very basic fourth grade science.

will not seat a tubless tire
I can not get it to air up my preata valve straight from the pump (.the pump keeps shutting off ) I have to use there little adapter tube then it works good but gets hot .I have not been able to get it to seat my tubeless tire. it feels solid . it gets hot. Its built solid feels great in your hand no plastic ,the pump gets hot. its a pain to use

Producto caro pero muy bueno es hecho por los mismos de cycplus pero tiene muchas mejoras y aunque algo grande cabe bien en la canjurera/riñonera que uso para mis recorridos MTB.
