It works despite my doubts
It works! I really wasn’t sure how to use it but I watched a short video and gave it a go and got all the slates off without breaking one! Banging on the handle of the tool with a hammer (which you have to do) does deform the metal of the front of the handle quite a bit. The tool has NO other uses but it does what it is made for very well.

Bad welds and poor durability. Cheaply made garbage
Cheaply made garbage. This thing is so flimsy you cannot use it to pry or even rip shingles with as it will fold like a cheap suit.
