Fairly decent tool, but could use minor improvements.
This T-square works fairly well, but don’t expect it to give you precise angles for highly detailed work. For general work it should be fine. It came with a pencil and 2 different colors of spare lead in black and red (4 of each color). The pencil seems to work well and has a sharpener built in.The lines and numbers are very clear and easy to read in metric and standard. They’re also accurate and match my other measuring tools almost perfectly.The pins for the angles don’t locate well enough to keep perfect alignment, but it’s only a degree or so off.That being said, I took off a half star for scratches from what looks like someone hanging it on a hook after previous use and another half because the pencil (along with every other type of pencil I own) doesn’t fit the center scribe hole and that’s one of the reasons why I bought it. I do have deep hole markers that can be used, however they’re too thin and can cause a lot of drift with your scribe line if you don’t have a steady hand.Overall I think it’s handy to have around for some things and not obscenely priced.

excellent quality
i really like saker tools. i have a few and this t-square is no exception. its well made and accurate and the design is really good for scribing lines. my other scriber has notches that i put the pencil in as a guide and mark the line as i slide the square down the wood. this one has a dedicated slide with a hole that fits the included pencil perfectly. the mechanical pencil is made specifically to fit the hole in the slide so there is no wiggle or jumping out of the notch. great design and great quality. would recommend

Good value, fairly accurate, functional and easy to use and adjust. It’s on the large size, just what I needed. Doesn’t fit in a standard tool box or big brand stacking systems, so don’t expect it to. The pencil is low quality but I didn’t expect it to be as good as a tracer.

Item is sturdy, feels weighty and well made. Comes with pencil and spare leads which was very nice.I’ve used today when putting down some new floor and skirting. Makes measuring and marking a breeze. The square is perfect for ensuring your lines are straight. The little wheel in the centre sold it for me. It made marking out a board to be cut lengthways simple. Set the circle to your measurement, drop the pencil in (it’s a perfect fit unsurprisingly), set you square at the edge of the piece and that’s it, perfect line every time.I’m a keen DIYer so not a pro, there may be better/easier options but for people like me who watch too much YouTube and like to have a go it’s a cracking little tool for me.
