Fantastic clamps I bought 4 and use them alot for trim since I’m a finish carpenterI like that you can take the teeth out if you’re doing stain grade material you can use minimal teeth and still get a lot of clamping force

Well worth the extra wood filler
So glad other companies starting making these again. Makes such a difference when casing windows and doors. The joints get to dry in plane super tight, caulk can fix the wavy Sheetrock, and those miters will stay tight forever.

A must have for trim carpenters
This tool is a must have for anybody who does trim on a regular basis. It makes the miners nice and tight and gives a finish. That’s unbelievable.

Ok for the price.
They work. They don’t have removable spikes like the more expensive originals. If they were easier to order i would have gotten the Clam clamps from Chestnut tool but these seem to work ok.

Not bad fur the cost
Now if you know you know. I knew these were not gonna be Chestnut and chowder quality but for a pair of fairly priced clam clamps they ain’t bad. Of course I can’t give 5 stars as they ain’t that nice but if you can’t get the C&C version these are actually very good. Not sure of long term use but they actually champ a little harder but barely. Good build and weight. Not sure about the handles but I might have to lock tight the little end caps but not a big deal. No spares included but didn’t expect that in the ones in this price range. Overall not bad

O’SKOOL ruined a great product, a PSA.
I bought a pair of these clamps in 2024 so I could glue up some door casings while renovating a rental property. Those OG ones worked great! 5*S*T*A*R*S I wish I had bought two pairs of them so I could glue up more than one casing at a time, but couldn’t afford the extra pair.Just recently, I was happy to see that the price dropped to just under $100 for a pair Nov 2025, so I bought an additional pair!These new ones are NOT the same quality product. They have replaced the solid brass internal bars and tiny gripping teeth with plastic, sheet metal, and shark fin like teeth that can’t be removed without taking the clamp apart! I an promptly returning these very weak 2 *star* clamps.

These are awesome.They are very handy when fitting architrave and skirting, as they hold the joints together nicely whilst the glue goes off.If you’re unsure about spending the money on these, just do it.
