   Works as described.
   I ended up buying 4 of these. I installed them on my surface planner, radial arm saw, table saw and miter saw. The fact that it continues to run the Shop vac after the saws stop keeps sawdust from remaining in the hoses and clogging it after a few uses.

   Wish i bought years ago!
   I dont know how i lived without these in my shop! It works like it should. I have it connected to my table saw and to my shop vac it works awesome. I love the delay shut off for the vacuum. I believe its a 10 second delay before it shuts off vacuum. I cant say enough about these they work and are a huge help around the shop. You dont have to worry about running around turning on a vac and then your tool and fumbling trying to turn your vac off. Just plug the thing in connect your tools and your set. I love these!

   Automatic Switch
   This automatic switch works great, I have a fan that was running 24 hours on the back side of my freezer. With the automatic switch the fan turns on after the freezer compressor is running and it shuts off few seconds after the freezer compressor stops. This great, not more annoying fan noise, and it helps on the electric bill.The only comment is that the freezer electric cord plug blades are 90 degrees, and is a little difficult to connect the fan’s electric cord, other than that everything works works like a charm.

   Highly recommend
   This is great! I love having this in the shop. When the tool is turned on the vacuum comes on automatically. Then when you shut off the tool the vacuum shuts down automatically (with a short delay after to help clear the hose of debris). I use this for my drill press, table saw, bandsaw, router, sanders, and grinders. I look forward to getting a few more. The only downside is unplugging it to move from machine to machine. I’ve put a lot of hours on mine with zero issues. It’s worked flawless each time.

   Reliable, well-built, and inexpensive.
   Works great and is very reliable. I only have two issues with this otherwise good product. The power cable is a bit too short if you want to attach the device to a vacuum cart. I replaced my power cable with a longer one to solve that problem. The other thing is it only has one screw tab for mounting so it tends to swing around on its single mounting screw.

   Convenient and efficient.
   I am rating this as a five at present. I ordered two; one works as expected the other does not. I don’t expect perfection. Based on the return process, receipt of the replacement and it’s operation, I will revisit this review to confirm the rating of 5.Three days later: Received the replacement switch the next day! Operates as expected. Reliable service!

   Works as described, but not right for HVAC UV light
   This thing works exactly as described, however, it is too sensitive to activate an UV-C light when the blower kicks on in an HVAC system. I was hoping the threshold to trigger the relay was higher than the low draw of the idle A/C unit, but it ended up just staying on as soon as I plugged it in. Still 5 stars, great simple product, just wish I had known kick on current was so low before I bought.

    This is a really basic unit, no override switch or anything, but works well in my setup. Been using it a month or so, no complaints. Really nice not to have to manually hit the shopvac every time I make a cut.

    I have now used this adapter in my shop for the last 6 months. It’s combined with a big DeWalt shop vac along with table saw or router table mostly (occasionally the mitter saw). I must say that its working flawlessly as advertised. Why then am i writing this review?After receiving the switch, i looked everywhere on the product or documentation to find the UL logo somewhere. Nope!A quick email to the seller gave me an accurate answer:**I would like to make aware potential buyers that having UL components doesn’t give this vacuum switch the UL certification.** This was the answer from the seller.I purchased this switch based on others reviews and the UL name mentioned in the product description. It mislead me to believe that this device is fully UL approved.**IT IS NOT!I only use it when i am present in the shop and doesnt leave it plugged. Doing so reduces fire hazard risks. I always prefer to have UL or CSA certified products. This is a sure sign of quality components AND properly tested devices.My 2 pennies.

    Makes my workspace so clean and works like a charm!m. Plug in your tool, hook up your shop vac, and it turns the vacuum on and off. I’ve got it running with my miter saw and router, and it kicks on instantly when I start cutting, then lingers for 10 seconds to clear the hose. The build is solid, with a thick UL-certified cord and flame-retardant casing. Really surprised with the quality and I would say it’s worth every penny
