Endless fun with this tool box set
Purchased this for my son’s 4th birthday. He was wanting tools. He absolutely loves this set. He opened and played with it immediately. He especially loves the hammer and the tape measure. He has been playing with it non stop and carries some of the tools around everywhere he goes so he doesn’t have to always lug the big case around. His 3 older brothers played with him and they all had fun. Even my 13 year old was willing to join in and help them play! The inserts that hold the tools in an organized manner inside the box is made with flimsy plastic that does not stay in place well. I do wish this was molded into the box as it would help with keeping his tools organized and give them a place to be put away. Otherwise this is a great buy that is cute and has gotten so much use already!

For little handymen!
Our grandson has grown up watching his dad do home improvement tasks, and he always likes to sit nearby and figure out what’s going on and how he can help. From a young age he has been encouraged to explore and assist. So this took kit was a no-brainer for us! We plan to give it to him for Christmas, but we opened it up to check it out first.My husband, who also does lots of projects, was very impressed with the detail and quality of this toy. The drill motor is very realistic and functions much like the real thing. The screwdriver has interchangeable bits that fit with the different screws and bolts included in the kit. It even comes with a tape measure, a play saw, a play utility knife, and a play hammer, among other tools. Note: the drill bit does require batteries.The interior of the case that keeps the tools organizes is quite flimsy and probably won’t hold up to toddler playtime, which is a bummer because everything fits so neatly inside and encourages working neatly. But other than that drawback, the set is so much fun and we know he will love it!

Good Choice
This has been a great toy for my son. He’s not yet three but he’s getting more into it the bigger he gets. He doesn’t use the goggles and stuff, but my 1 year old plays with those. Mainly, he loves the drill and hand tools. He has a car that he can take the wheels off that this drill fits and he uses it for that. He’s recently figured out that you can reverse the drill to unscrew as well and he is getting quite proficient with it. Supervised, my 1 year old likes to hammer the nails into the little fake wood pieces. I’d say the toy is best for age 3+ but when well supervised, younger kids find them fun, too. We keep ours in a play yard because of small parts and call it his mechanic shop. I definitely think it’s a good toy for the price. The realistic drill is the best piece and we’ve had it for a while with no quality concerns. It holds up well and is the perfect size for little hands.

Super cheap quality
The quality is very poor. Super cheap set. The case is cute, too bad we can’t use it because the cheap plastic inside doesn’t hold in place and won’t shut unless you jam your fingers in all corners.

The OCHIDO kids tool set is perfect for little hands. The tools are sturdy and come in a handy toolbox for easy storage. My child loves playing and learning with it. Great quality and lots of fun!

Hours of creative play
This is a gift for a 4-year-old boy with a certain kind of personality: organizational, eager to make things and then take them apart. So this is perfect for creative, pretend play.The set has a drill that “works” (you need a couple of AA batteries, so don’t wait to get these before kiddo unwraps the present). Using the drill with the screws and also using the measuring tape were a big hit. The size of the tools is easy for little fingers. Let’s not forget the hammer. Thank god it’s only plastic.The case is fairly durable but the inserts that keep all the tools organized are definitely not. Even if you taped or glued the inserts in place, it wouldn’t work. So that was frustrating, and for this kind of kid – remember, organizational – it is a problem. It might be better to just dispose of that part, rather than create an issue. I knocked off a star for that.Otherwise, it’s decent value for the money and a solid set that’ll provide hours of creative play.
