Oh man, this thing is so cool! My house is under renovation & after removing some insulation from the attic, I was seriously wondering how much AC Iâm losing until we get new insulation up there. This gun is so cool, itâs like a toy for adults. Itâs so easy to use! You just point & either quick pull the trigger, or you can hold the trigger down & move it around. I tested all the windows, doors, ceilings in each room, the AC vents, you name it. It tells you not only room temp, but trigger point surface temp & humidity levels. Plus it has this little probe to stick into food or whatever to test it. Super lightweight & only requires 2 AAA batteries. Looks to be giving very accurate temperature measurements. Great purchase, highly recommend!

Exactly What I Was Looking For To Check My Epoxy!
This Infrared Thermometer Gun is exactly what I was hoping it would be.I do a lot of resin & wood art and knowing proper temps not only in my room, but of the actual epoxy is crucial for some of my experiments & projects that I am doing. Some of the techniques requiring waiting until your epoxy reaches a certain temp., probes are messy with resin, become a hassle, sometimes it starts curing & you have to toss them out or they become inaccurate.I really didn’t want to shell out more money for a temp gauge but I am sure glad I did. Just the time this is saving me & the Prime Day Deal made it all worth it.This one I can literally point it at the surface & get a pretty darn close reading. It’s been accurate for the most part every time.Comes with very thorough & complete instructions. There’s so much to this product and I haven’t even used all of its capabilities as of yet & I may never use them all LOL but knowing that they are there when I need them gives me peace of mind!Added probe attachment is a great bonus feature!Construction of unit is solid, durable housing. Not flimsy. Comes with a holster style case to keep it clean & dust free when not in use.They even included the 2 AA batteries, cheapy ones, but nonetheless they are there to get you started.Looks & feels comfortable in your hand. Grips nicely.Size is perfect. It’s not overly huge, fits in a drawer, tool bag, shelf, closet, etc. without taking up a lot of room.I have a feeling I will be getting a lot of use out of this way beyond the craft room.So many things you can check the temperature of & will come in handy for that you don’t even realize,At $39.99 (at time of posting this, 10/16/25) I feel it’s a little, teeny bit on the high side.I feel most budget-conscious consumers will pass this by but the quality may be worth the investment on this product!Definitely Recommend!!

Listen, we all want that thermal camera⦠so badly. Iâm here to tell you this is definitely good enough. Def gets the job done & amazing to use around the house.

Excellent foundry tool when working with copper, aluminum and bronze.
Use this with my small foundry furnace for casting Aluminum, Copper and Bronze. This is an excellent high temperature thermometer but one has to understand emisivity and its limitations using it on molten metal.I do find a Color temperature chart to be more useful with molten metal.I find this very useful for everything else that is high temperature in my foundry.

I can’t believe I waited so long to get this. It was purchased so I could get an accurate temp on our flat top griddle and it works great. Now that I have it, I find uses for it all the time.
