This scribe is incredibly useful for fabricating ductwork as it marks set dimensions on the the metal. I have also used it to mark wood and steel bar for other projects. It’s a small handy addition to my toolbag

Sheet metal work tool
I bought this for my own personal use at my workplace that deals with a lot of sheet metal layouts and design. I gave this product a 4 star only because the markings on the scriber is hard to read. You had to literally look real close or tilt them side to side in order to see the fraction marking number. Would’ve been nice if it was engrave in black color for better visibility.

I wish i had one of these for the past 30+ years. Came across this product whilst browsing for something else. With over 30 years in the engraving industry i could have saved many hours producing better more accurate shearing cuts of brass sheet stock if I had this tool sooner. Oh well I have it now and am enjoying its practical and very easy usage. To those who said the edges are rough and lettering is hard to read must need glasses or gloves to wear because the product I received is nothing like that. Man up fellas!!

Saves me so much time
Love this thing. Iâm constantly using it to make 1â and half inch marks on sheet metal to bend and this saves me so much time and very accurate.
