This little square is a big help
I’m quite happy with this small machinist square. I got this square for the purpose of helping maintain my miter saw calibration. This little square can be a big help. The square is quite solid, built of high quality clean constructed aluminum. The red anodized coating helps make the white dashes and numbers pop so that they’re easy to see. The included rare Earth magnets are strong such that the square could sit upside down if needed on a piece of metal with no issue. The square is true. I have no complaints with this little tool. This is definitely a good value if you are looking for a lightweight, compact square for your uses in the shop.

Really good small square
This square is very nice. I like that it is small enough that I can use it on my bench top bandsaw. I checked it against 2 other squares and it is exact. The magnets arenât overly powerful and hold snug to the blade to allow me to square up the table. The magnets hold it firmly enough to the bandsaw cabinet that it stays handy without having to go search for it. The only thing Iâm not sure about is the âlipâ is screwed on. Iâm sure after a time they will back out and it wonât be caught before I get something out of square. I have plans to eventually unscrew them and add some thread locker to prevent this. But for now, itâs really good

Magnet and wide base make the square very useful on my sawmill
I like the Metric and SAE sides. The magnet with the wider base platform makes it very useful on my sawmill. I can attach it to the metal frame to test square, and I can hang it upside down attached to the blade itself to gauge height of the saw head. See photos for both of those features.Good finish. Clear markings. Red also means it’s harder to lose in the brush or sawdust.

Comically Small, Recessed Magnets
This square is laughably small- I did not fully comprehend how small it was based on its description. The magnets are recessed and are not the strongest, but they work.Overall, it’s a decent compact square for small projects.

Every woodworker needs one
This is a fantastic little machinist square. It’s perfectly 90 degrees in all directions and the magnetic base is fantastic for checking your saw blade against your table or fence. The high contrast white markings don’t seem to scratch off and are easy to read against the red aluminum. It’s small enough to fit in your pocket and is so helpful when making jigs for woodworking.
