VOTOER Long Handle Pallet Stretch Wrap Dispenser – it’s not very useful!
Long Handle Pallet Stretch Wrap Dispenser, Stretch Film Packing Machine Shrink Wrap Dispenser Holder, for Film Width 12-20 inchI buy 18 inch rolls of 80 gauge cast stretch wrap. We manually wrap shipments that are usually from 20 to 60 boxes on a pallet, and might weigh up to 1000 lbs and height up to 92 inches tall.Wrapping the tall pallets is hard on my back and I am 6 feet (72 inches) tall. I was looking for something at a reasonable price that would make these tall pallets easier to wrap especially for shorter people.That is why I ordered the VOTOER Long Handle Pallet Stretch Wrap Dispenser from Amazon.Unfortunately, there is nothing to create drag and tension on the roll of stretch wrap as it’s unwinding. You need drag to create the stretch. You can use your hand but it’s very difficult to control with this dispenser. Without the required tension, I have found this device to be not very useful.

AN ODD TOOL THAT TAKES SOME GETTING USED TO
This is a well-built tool, the grips are good, and it works OK, except for one thing: There’s nothing to provide any tension on the extended plastic, so you have to either have somebody hold the end, or anchor it somehow. Once you’ve made that first go-round and have it in contact, THEN it’s great to work with. The tool seems like it’s built to last for years of constant use: If you’re wrapping pallets all day long, this is useful, but for occasional use, the price doesn’t really justify the purchase. It’s really something for constant, heavy-duty use.
