    Unusual use found
It’s an unusual application, but I use these to press and hold thick seams on bags readying them for top stitching.

    Exactly what I needed.
I have horse mats, heavy mats that I have to move when new horses come in, and a lot of the times the clamps will take out chunks. This is awesome! Because of the distribution of tension, it doesn’t tear through the mat. The only downside was the spring came out of it, but my husband was able to fix it. Would definitely buy again

I often support the smaller sellers and write product reviews to support their stores. But once in a while, I have to warn my fellow shoppers on extremely poor design and/or workmanship. This is one of those times!Quality Issues:>Way too much movement within the mechanism, even when holding/clamping material>Clamp edges were way too misaligned to consider using it for any type of bending>Doubt I would ever rely on this tool for anything except for holding a block of scrap woodI purchased this product to coarsely bend some thin sheet metal. As I would likely do this every couple years or so, I decided this time to NOT to get name brand which would have cost me about 50% more. The clamping edge was improperly made and grossly misaligned. It was so bad, I doubt it could be corrected with a grinder. It was like there was no QA process in place before it left the factory. This tool was definitely not even good enough to provide a “quick and dirty” bend. I would have been better off using my 5″ vise and my hammer for this task. I eventually had to go to my local big-box store and buy the Irwin-brand model. Much happier now.
