Cute kit for Cardboard Play
This kidsâ cardboard crafting tool set is a fun idea, especially for a house full of boxes and imagination.Getting this set was a no-brainer for us, and overall itâs a decent little kit. The included gloves were a bit big on my 3-year-old, but it wasnât a real issue. There are tons of nuts and bolts, so the building possibilities are endless.The main downside for us was the hole puncher. It didnât make the holes big enough, so even after punching them I still had to push hard to get the bolts through. My 3-year-old was a little too young to handle the actual construction part, but her dad and I ended up having a great time with it. She mostly enjoyed playing with the finished âcastles.â Our cardboard cat castle was the top creation, and definitely kitty approved.The quality of the tools themselves feels decent. I love the concept of this kit and what it encourages kids to do, but I do wish the building process was a little easier. For future projects, Iâd probably look into a different version.

My son approves and loves this set!
I bought these for my son because he loves building things out of cardboard boxes. The knife is sharp enough for kids to cut cardboard, but not too sharp to be dangerous. Make sure they wear the gloves they come with to be safe. He really likes this set and it comes with several pieces. They’re durable and have a bunch of screws to hold cardboard pieces together. A great kid gift idea!

This cardboard tool kit is my boys favorite activity right now! I was surprised with how easy they are to use and build with. My boys have spent the last few days making new creations that have kept them busy for hours!

Lots of potential. Needs more corner brackets
Donât let the cardboard fool you! This provides lots of learning opportunities! So far, only my 12 and 11-year-olds have used this, because I wanted to make sure it was safe for the younger ones, but the feedback I get is that it would probably be OK for my six-year-old as well. The kid started with making mini stand-up cut outs, and I love that they figured it out that the taller one needed a bigger base to support balance, and so they attatched additional cardboard. Then my sonâs first sword had separate pieces for the blade and handle, so I explained it would be sturdier if it were full tang, and he made another, more stable sword. The wheel tool is good for making folds, or planning your cuts. The saw works easier if you score it first with the wheel, because it guides the cuts. Things wonât necessarily look like masterpieces, but itâs a fun little kit. It needs far more corners thoughâthose are the fun ones. Regular screws are good for layers, or things that hinge side to side.
