Fast installation & safer alternative to J-clips
WOW! Cuts work time down dramatically! Installed chicken wire fencing on top of a chainlink enclosure in 15mins at our Rescue. Rings still holding steadfast, even after a large 14″dia branch clobbered the top in a hurricane. Held tight & no compromised integrity after the storm. Very impressive. Much better than J-clips, as the edges are smooth and safer for animal’s interaction, & so much quicker to install. Definitely recommend.

These pliers worked very well. I had a pair before that you had to put in one ring at a time, took forever. These pliers Make quick work of fencing. How durable they are remains to be seen. If something changes I will update this review. But at this point definitely worth the money 💰 ******* UPDATE ****–> After less than a half box of rings the pliers stopped working properly…. Unfortunately they are very low quality. Bummer 😕

Mini hog ring pliers
1st pair had a small glitch with staple sleeve. They sent a replacement out and it works great. Plenty of rings to complete task

Won’t feed
Crimps fine, but won’t feed the hog rings for continously feed, even after spraying it with light lube to help with actuation. No quality control to see if tool functions properly before shipping.

I used this to make a quail travel cage and to connect the fence to my garden. Very easy to use once you figure out how to open it.

After watching videos for car cover installation I thought this would be great. Great leverage for use. Can’t say I like the loader as it doesn’t stay put once put into position so rings can fall out of a readiness position. But once i tried to use it I realized that it was just too big to reach where I needed it to making it completely useless for the job. Bought a normal one afterwards that worked much better even though it was only 1 ring at a time.

Works as intended
The build quality seems good. It works as intended. The description about the hug ring close radius is accurate. There is no manual with it, so I had to refer to the web page. It’s no clear how to open the hug ring loader, and it took me a minute to figure it out (shown in my video, hope that helps).
