   Functional soldering iron holder, works with my Weller rechargeable iron
   This review is for the Heavy Duty Soldering Iron Stand with Cast Iron Base – Stable Square Design, Threaded Spring Holder with Cleaning SpongeI don’t solder a lot but I do have a lot of experience with it. For most small jobs now I use a Weller rechargeable soldering iron and it works well with this stand. This has a nice weight to it and the sponge holder area is a nice touch. I did have to bend the holder straight and it would be nice if there was a way to adjust it to adapt to the length of the iron.Four stars as this does what the description states but there is room for improvement.

   Solid and stable – does not move when you touch it or place the iron in it
   I have been looking for a stand that is solid and stable. All the plastic ones fall over or slide when i use them causing issues. A soldering iron is HOT. I want it to stay where I put it, not roll around or slide because of the cord tension. This one solves all those problems. The sponge is included but i hardly ever use it because I think the brass tip cleaners are better. The holder took a littler getting usedf to but I like that it doesn’t touch my curved tips. All in all i have no complaints and use it all the time.
