Just what I needed. After losing my $200 hair straightener because it was too hot to pack, I ordered a new one and then ordered this. I have already used it several times to pack my hot hair straightener in my luggage and it works perfectly. I just leave the cord out (wrapped up) and slide the hot end inside this and off I can go! Great purchase.

Well made, roomy, solid holder
These are great. A bit larger than some, but very sturdy. I can easily fit my largest barrel iron inside and have plenty of room for my long cord inside the out pocket. I did take a star off for the high price. For what it is, and for what is out there, even though this is better than any I’ve tried, it’s spendy. In the photo you can see the size difference between the simple silicone sleeve, my old, original travel case and this one.
