    Needs fine sand sharpen.
    Nice finish. Almost sharp. Tube sand and cone sand to perfection.

    Great irrigation hole puncher for the price
    Works great and hold edge well for cutting holes in irrigation flat lay hoses. Way cheaper then a hole pusher but just need a small block of wood and a hammer

    Does the job
    I got this so that I can punch perfect holes in lids for deli cups that I have turned into drinking cups. It works great as long as you hit it with a hammer and make sure it’s on something solid. Otherwise, it won’t work. I like it and it is the perfect size for my boba tea/milkshake straws to go through.

    Not 1/2 inch… It’s 12 mm.
    This is a well built tool, but it is trying to be two different sizes. 12mm does not equal 1/2 in. It is about a millimeter short. If 1 mm is not important to you then you’ll be very happy with this item. If you need an exact 1/2 inch this will be useless to you. They are trying to play it both ways here. It’s a 12 mm punch, period. I’ll have to look for an actual 1/2 inch punch if there is even such a thing anymore.

    Not razor sharp on arrival but sharp enough to easily cut the #2 grommet holes for the curtain in the photo: 4 layers of Sunbrella.Does the job.,

    This punch is working well so far making wads for reloading purposes.. A fast way to use this punch is to clamp it in a Vice with cloth or thin wood so you dount marr it , stand the puch up vertically , lay the material to be punched on top of the cutting edge and hit firmly with a rubber or wood mallet..Place some kindof materialor tape around the cutout if you are making alot of your items,that way they won’t fall out.For the price I think it is a good buy.

    The 1/2” is the right size to make leather washers for my bag making projects. I have to wack this cutter very hard to get a clean cut. Not sure how long edges will remain sharp or if this tool can even be sharpened
