   It works but mine doesnt
   Seems to work OK. Wood up to 50% but other materials is only 33%. Power button seems to be stuck, so it cycles on and off, works sometimes. Want a replacement.

   Simple and good quality.
   Clear instructions and easy to use. The points are really sharp so it is easy to use, even in an awkward position in the crawlspace. The ability to lock the reading enables you to take a measurement without seeing the face.A bit expensive for occasional use, but the trade off is you can trust the reading.

   Stopped working.
   It worked well for the first few months, but stopped working into month 5 and would intermittently turn off here and there before it completely stopped working. Won’t be ordering Extech products anymore.

   Not bad. it has a tendency to lock from time to time so u have to disconnect battery and re start it. seems to be a good product other than. Brought it to my family in Denham Springs, La after the flood to check their houses.

   Very helpful for home improvement or repair work
   Purchased this to detect moisture in a plaster wall from a plumbing leak. Very helpful in measuring the severity of the leak, as well as how large the zone was on one particular wall. Measurement is fairly consistent moving between different materials or locations in our house, and not random which I’ve heard is a problem with cheaper meters.

    I have other devices from Extech and find them reliable and easy to use. Not the cheapest, perhaps, but seems good value to me and does the job. Useful for checking logs for the fire and building materials for soundness.

    Je renvoie ce produit car il ne peut pas mesurer plus de 33% d’humidité dans les murs. Après une inondation, les murs ont été mesurés professionnellement à 90% d’humidité, ce qui dépasse le plafond de mesure de cet appareil.
