Using this primarily to measure blade & fence angles on my mitre & table saws, this has worked without issue. Setup & use is a no-brainer, and it’s proven to be pretty durable getting shuffled around the workbench/toolbox for a few months now.The loss of the 5th star is due to one minor annoyance: it is ridiculously sensitive! Trying to ‘lock in’ a 90-degree reading feels like trying to thread a needle on a rocking boat! That being said, after much use, I’ve accepted that the .03 to .05 degree variances are well within range for me to produce reliably joinable cuts ranging from 30 to 90 degrees.I’m sure I could find a pricier alternative that isn’t quite as ‘jumpy’ with its readings, but for the price (and the projects I’m using it for) I’m 100% happy with this product!

Till it quit. Maybe my fault for leaving the batteries in it but when I went to turn it on, nothing. New batteries, nothing. Just happened to turn it at the right angle and could barely see âerrorâ. Oh well, get what you pay for. Next time Iâll pull the batteries

This device goes blank or low light to where you canât see your results. I have used different battery types and tried all kinds of things to improve the outcome. Warning: Have your camera ready to capture your results as soon as you hit the power button
