Digital time’s for tool
First and foremost, the digital display is exceptionally clear and easy to read, providing precise angle measurements down to the decimal. The illuminated screen is a godsend in dimly lit workspaces, ensuring I can work with utmost accuracy at all times,Another standout feature is the hold function, which freezes the display at the current angle, enabling me to focus on marking or adjusting my workpiece without worrying about the angle changing,This digital angle finder is a game-changer! Itâs incredibly precise, with clear readings on the bright display. The build quality is solid, and the magnetic base holds firmly in place. Itâs lightweight yet durable, making it perfect for woodworking and metalworking projects. Calibration was easy, and the battery life is excellent.

+ Good value compact easy use; – Sliding ruler 0.5°â1.0° mechanical slop; precise zeroing impossible
This Ranyb [ASIN B0BJTWHXV3] Digital Angle Finder is a good value (at $20), compact, and easy to use. However, due to the inherent nature of the flexible design, the sliding ruler has 0.5° â 1.0° of mechanical slop; and also precise zeroing is practically impossible. The angle finder measures the rotation of the square shaft which slides in the ruler slot. Changing the ruler angle pivots the square shaft. The measurement of the rotation of that square shaft itself is very accurate. However, there is necessarily a small gap between the square shaft and the ruler slot. (Otherwise the ruler would bind and could not slide.) This small gap allows the ruler to rotate slightly without rotating the square shaft, effectively creating 0.5° â 1.0° of mechanical slop (which I measured repeatedly by comparing to a DIN875 class 2 precision 45° miter square).Further, like other angle finders, this Ranyb [ASIN B0BJTWHXV3] Digital Angle Finder zeros at whatever arbitrary ruler angle position exists upon power-up. The (nice) storage position of the sharp, pointed ruler is not precise, so it is practically impossible to absolutely zero the angle finder. For most users, this zeroing uncertainty will likely add roughly another 0.4° â 0.9° of absolute inaccuracy to the above 0.5° â 1.0° relative inaccuracy caused by mechanical slop.(From an engineering perspective, it is frankly silly to display hundredths of degrees. It would be far better to increase the digit font size for readability, and eliminate the display of both the tenths and the hundredths of degrees, as the angle finder’s relative accuracy is reasonably at best the stated ±0.5°, However. the absolute accuracy is more likely to be the sum to the two inaccuracies, ie, 0.9° â 1.9°.)Nevertheless, for most users, I suspect the ease of use and flexibility would outweigh these two inherent, unfixable inaccuracy factors. (For my personal use, however, it was necessary to return this Ranyb [ASIN B0BJTWHXV3] Digital Angle Finder, and instead purchase a digital angle finder without any sliding ruler such as the Lexivon [ASIN B0D8J6DYCX], which, also, can be repeatedly zeroed accurately.)

Accurate
I recently acquired the Digital Angle Finder Protractor, and I must say it has been a game-changer for my DIY projects and woodworking endeavors. This nifty tool offers unparalleled accuracy and convenience, making it an essential addition to any toolbox.First and foremost, the digital display is exceptionally clear and easy to read, providing precise angle measurements down to the decimal. Whether I’m measuring an inside angle, outside angle, or even calculating the difference between two angles, this tool handles it effortlessly. The ability to zero out the measurement at any point allows for seamless transitions between various tasks, saving me valuable time and effort.Durability is a key factor, and this protractor doesn’t disappoint. The robust construction ensures it can withstand the rigors of a busy workshop. Plus, it’s compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around and use on the go.Another standout feature is the hold function, which freezes the display at the current angle, enabling me to focus on marking or adjusting my workpiece without worrying about the angle changing. In conclusion, the Digital Angle Finder Protractor has exceeded my expectations. Super awesome for aligning things around the house
After fiddling around with a level and protractor, I could never get my speakers aligned to the angles I wanted them to be with great accuracy. With this, it is much easier to see measure angles to precision of 0.1 degrees! Now my home theaters are aligned perfectly for calibration and I find this to be a much better solution than investing in a laser alignment device.

It is small, accurate and easy to use. win win win.
Having a custom shop build you a custom chassis for your antique car can run you $30-40K. I don’t like that idea. As a true DIYer, I am working one developing one myself. This tool comes in very handy for me. I do not have a 3D scanner so taking measurements in an accurate way for welding is super critical. Did I say Critical? more than that. It is small, accurate and easy to use. win win win.

Incorrect.
Check a few times, but did not read accurate. Read 50 degree but was 40 degree. Did not match the degrees on a speed square.

VERY Handy Tool
Have used this many times now and it works very well. After you have it set to 0 Deg. it is very accurate for marking, or finding the correct angle. It took a few times to learn how to use this, but after that, it really is very simple and easy. This is definitely a lower end product, but for my occasional use it’s great and the price was right!!
