Yyy
I enjoyed it very much. It was for trim nails for siding. It did its job. It wasn’t some big bulky half half inch trying to get up in the J channel. Thank you.

Great for hard to reach areas
This nail set is invaluable when trimming windows or doors with aluminum trim. As you can see from my photos, there is no way for me to get a hammer to drive the trim nail into the aluminum trim. It’s also good for installing rubber weatherstripping around garage doors. It prevents from marring the trim with the head if the hammer. I have been using one of these for the past 25 years. It’s half plastic with a metal drive pin in the middle. This one here is far superior than the one I’ve been using. The build quality is great and it works perfectly.

Worth every penny.
Works great. I lost my old one and most stores don’t carry these anymore. I was glad to find this here.First, these are not nail setters or for punching a nail below the surface. These are used for trim coil nails. for soffit and fascia especially. I prefer using them for aluminum soffit because you don’t want to drive them home and you need to put the nail in where your fingers just don’t reach. This puts them there every time with no effort. They run it straight and keeps your fingers and the aluminum from getting damaged. This is cheap quality control for most carpenters out there. Who ever designed these was a genius.

High quality, well designed nail punch
This trim nail punch is high quality, made with excellent materials for long durability. Is easy to center and use and works very well. They are made grip is a great addition for protection of your thumb and it is the perfect size for small places. An excellent value for the price.

Handy Little Nail Setter
Right away, this tool impressed me with how simple but effective it is. The slim punch makes it easy to set trim nails without risking bent heads or sore fingers, and it fits comfortably in the hand. I especially liked that it gave me better control around delicate molding where a hammer alone would have left marks. The included pocket clip makes it easy to keep it within reach during a project. If there’s one drawback, it’s that the coating shows scratches pretty quickly, though that doesn’t affect performance.Great for DIYers, finish carpenters, or anyone working on trim who wants a safer, cleaner way to drive nails.Compact, practical, and a real time-saver for detail work.

Very useful and well-made
Handy to have around if you need to use nails in a tight area. Works just like a siding nail punch and can help avoid hitting the wrong spot with a hammer.

Works well so far, Feels great in the hands, one concern though…
First impressions upon opening package are that this is a nice, well made too. The quality seems pretty good. I decided to give it a test run right off the bat to test the functionality. The tool worked very well at setting some finishing nails flush with the wood surface of my workbench. I tested about ten freshly sunk nails and then found a couple of brads from when I was testing my brad nailer on my workbench that weren’t quite flush so I set them flush too while I was at it. The tool worked well for setting all of those nails flush. Now for the bad, As can be seen in one of my pictures, after driving about 15 finishing nails/brads, there were quite a few marks left on the surface that contact the nail heads. So far this hasn’t impeded the function of the tool that I can tell, but it does leave me wondering how it will affect the tool after 100, or 1000 nails. I am afraid that the surface in question will mushroom out over time like you often see with well use drive pin punches, and that this mushrooming effect will prevent the tool from operating smoothly. I think for the price of this tool, this shouldn’t be a concern this early in its life.I’m going to leave it at five stars for now because, as I’ve stated, the tool has done a really good job of setting nails flush so far and hasn’t failed at that objective yet. I will update the review if my concern becomes validated and the tool fails to meet it’s duties anytime in the near future.
