    Nice tool to repair couch
    Purchased this in an attempt to install fresh new banding on our couch. Having no prior experience with this, it ended up being pretty simple. The tool worked great. No way could I have repaired the couch without it.

    Strong metal goose neck
    I’ve been upholstering 40 years. This stretcher is strong. Pay a little more for good quality. It will probably outlast me…..unless I loose it.

    Why did you pick this product vs others?:Works great. It’s definitely sturdy, I was putting a lot of tension on the banding.

    Necessary item
    This is a must have item for chair bottom repair . A bit expensive but very necessary to do the job correctly .

    Poor quality
    Opened this and one of the spikes was sitting in the package after it had fallen out of the hole. Not impressed since this is before it’s even been used once. Not sure how it’s going to hold up to the actual use.

    Rubber split
    The rubber cover split down the middle making it difficult to stretch the fabric. The wood kept slipping when I stretched the fabric. I fixed the issue with duct tape.

    Après 4 sangles tendues, le manche s’est dévissé. Vise trop courte, cela créer du jeu lorsque l’on met la sangle en tension.
