Robert Makosky –
Sure beats making one.
Made of high-quality steel, and really great for forming those rivets for your blacksmith projects.

Pretty sure its not 4140 but should do the job just fine.
A bit on the small size but perfectly usable, they claim its made out of 4140 but also say its a corrosion resistant steel. It appears to me to be a stainless steel, a magnet also leads me to believe this as altho it is magnetic, my very strong magnet barely had any attraction. Just enough to feel it, but not nearly as much as normal steel. Which tells me its probably stainless. Which should be fine, I think even a low grade stainless would be better then the mild steel I woulda probably made this from. The convenience of getting it next day shipped and the fact its at least 10$ or more less than its competition makes this a good value to me, I just wish I knew what it was actually made of.

Is advertised as a 1/4″ rivet doming tool, with a 5/16″ dome. As per title and description. What arrived was a 1/2″ domed tool.
