Great clamps
The BESSEY BPC-H12 1/2″ H Style Pipe Clamps are an absolute must-have for anyone tackling woodworking or other clamping projects. These clamps are incredibly sturdy and built to last. The “H” style base is a game-changer—it provides outstanding stability and prevents tipping, which is a huge plus when working on uneven surfaces or larger projects. One of the standout features is the smooth and easy-to-adjust clutch mechanism. It locks firmly in place without slipping, making it simple to get just the right amount of pressure without damaging your workpiece. I also appreciate the large clamping pads that distribute pressure evenly and protect delicate materials from dents or scratches. The powder-coated finish adds durability and helps resist rust, so these clamps are built to endure heavy use over time. I’ve used them for everything from small furniture repairs to larger glue-up projects, and they’ve never let me down.Overall, the BESSEY BPC-H12 offers professional-grade performance at an affordable price. Whether you’re a hobbyist or a seasoned woodworker, these clamps are a reliable and indispensable tool.

Well made and work well
Used it for a benchtop glue-up – these are heavy-duty, well made, and work very well. The plastic jaw cover works well although it has a tendency to slip off (might just add a spot of glue in the future so I don’t lose them).

Great pipe clamps
Good well designed pipe clampsStrong and well madeNo complaints hereI would buy againThey are heavy which is not a bad thing

Love them.
Needed longer clamping distances for woodworking. These are the 1/2″ and work great. If you are clamping some really thick slabs you might want 3/4″ but these do great on 8/4 boards.

Not a great replacement for long bar clamps
These pipe clamps are certainly economic and versatile, as you can mount them on any length of pipe. The problem with that is, the sliding end doesn’t always stick well to the pipe. And you can’t really turn the pipe in the static end’s threads to find a different spot for the sliding end to stick, because the threads are conical, and it just pops out.Another annoying issue is that the plastic jaw pads are slippery and really like to slide off the clamps. Which means you just have to take them off to actually clamp something, and either damage the workpiece because the metal jaws don’t have the best finish (you could grind them…) or use shims to avoid that.In my opinion, these should only be used if you need to work on something reeeeally long. Otherwise, use bar clamps.

I just need a few more and I’ll finally have enough
Over the years I’ve bought about 2 dozen of these clamps and I might try others, but I just keep coming back to these. To be honest, my favorite pipe clamps are Craftsman ones that they stopped making years ago because they have a little lever that is easier than the tab on these, but in terms of new clamps, this is what I get.I like these H style ones, because I can easily hang them by the little foot on the leg. I also prefer the handle on these.I bought a couple of the Harbor Freight clamps a while ago to see how they compared, and they feel so cheap in comparison. I ended up throwing them away because I couldn’t crank down on them like I can on the Bessy clamps.I’ve also bought several parallel clamps and they are great, but are so expensive, especially for longer ones.I generally have 4 foot and 6 foot pipes with a couple of 10 footers and I have connectors that I use when I want to do larger glue ups so I can do pretty much any size I want with pipe clamps as long as I have enough pipe to connect.I just see so many other clamps at the store or on youtube and I’ll give them a try, but for the value, quality, and versatility I just keep going back to these Bessy pipe clamps.

Great price
Can’t beat the price. The work great and seem to be of good quality. I’ve used them on probably 20 glue ups and haven’t had any issues. The only thing I would look out for is the plastic covers slipping

Slip joint pliers are your friend!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bessey is the standard. I am new to pipe clamps. I went 3/4 pipe for sturdy and 5ft long to do everything. The 1st change was buying 2ft pipe. If you are using long pipe to clamp a short item the pipes will tilt and lift the front clamp off the table.2nd change, buy caps to protect the pipe threads.3rd (just today) use a pair of channel lock style pliers to squeeze the spring loaded adjustable part of the clamp unless you are short of your profanity goal at the time. 4th, clamp lightly and weight down the work if it’s multiple pieces of wood (like a cutting board) and then tighten fully. This will minimize the wood “bowing up”. Less sanding/flattening later.5th, glue thoroughly. Clamp once and wipe off the excess on the side up. Unclamp and wipe the side down. Clamp again harder and repeat as necessary. Great clamps.

First time using the Bessey pipe clamps and I have found them to sturdy and reliable, offering strong clamping pressure for a variety of woodworking projects.Easy to assemble and adjust, and can be fitted to an any length pipe making them very versatile. The two legs help keep the clamps still during clamping and the large clamping surfaces help distribute pressure evenly, reducing the risk of damaging workpieces.Overall very happy and will be purchasing several more!!

Lightweight, sturdy, can make any size clamp by just changing the pipe size. Price very high
Tonio –
Just have to buy the steel bar which may not be that easy to find but as far as the clamps are concerned, top quality
Daniel Risberg –

Consiglio acquisto
