1500 Miles and still going strong!
1500 Miles on this motor kit, I did buy a 2nd battery and I am noticing that the battery with this kit is already starting to show signs of wear. The voltage drops very quickly after 40% now and I think my range has been affected. The motor itself is amazing and even comes with BBS02 750w stickers, very sneaky :)Overall I’m very happy with the motor, the battery kinda sucks but it has worked for 1500 miles and I think it’ll continue to work for another 1500 even if the full charge is affected.

Need to know how a bicycle to ride with this motor and also, practice to learn how it works
After long time you tube learning, I finally mounted the Bafang BBSHD. I wanted to mount it on a 26 Treck Remedy but could not find how to adapt it to the carbon frame so, bought an old 29 Fuji and had to start by totally refurbishing the bicycle to then install the Bafang. 1st ride 26 km with 100 ft elevation and downhills on streets = what a surprise, lots of failures and fault chain… cracks and stops when changing gears… but finally started to sense and feel the engine. 2nd ride with chain guard and better adjustment of break sensors, using lower speeds 3-4-5, to start feeling the power and required pedaling rhythm for properly riding and getting the most of the engine. My feeling is, it works great and provides a powerful push but, I still need to pedal and properly chose the bike gear and engine speed (power) to get the best of it. The more I ride, the more I like this motor.
