Works Well!
This is a pretty decent carpenter square that has worked well for me. For the different projects that I have done it has done a good enough job for me to keep it. It seems to be pretty durable and Iâve not had any issues with it getting banged up while working.

Perfect Square! Lighter Than Others.
I have a few framing squares. All of the others are thicker and a little heavier. Which ones are more durable is debatable. What I like about this one is that the measurements are easier to read and seem considerably more accurate. The edges seem more smooth d accurate as well: It seems that this this tool can offer more precision than my others that I have acquired over the years. I have a few since I will generally keep one at the place where I an doing the carpentry, and then another at the location where I am doing the cutting (miter saw, or table saw. I like the look of this one better, but since it looks so nice, I do not want to drop it and keep it at my chop saw (miter saw).

Pretty, but will it last?
As the headline says, this is an attractive looking speed square an is very nice out of the box. My experience is that these tools tend to get tossed in a tool box and take a beating when moving from job to job. The markings on this one look delicate and I doubt they will last long with this sort of treatment. I’ll be keeping this one in my workshop, where it is likely to be treated more gently.
