Well needed tool
Iâve been in the construction field for over 40 years. I wish I had this years ago. The speed square is easily legible with the colors. The detachable t-bevel is outstanding. The knocker for the speed square is a great thing for repetitive angle cuts on rafters and bird mouths. Great square.

Great multi use speed square
Not great if you’re out framing and using this every day. The parts get in the way and it’s more of a use for someone who keeps a square in the truck. The level is a nice feature. The metal piece that is magnetized in does fall off if dropped and the locking pins loosen on their own with use. Other than that, not a bad tool at all

Iâm a woodworker, and I can attest, this thing is awesome; especially for the price!! Iâve had a lot of squares from several different box stores; the quality and multiple uses I can get out of it, make it my new favorite!!

more than a basic square
Durable square with more features than the basic square. Has a lot of features but doesnât have any instructions on how to use it and to identify all the features (examples). If you are familiar with using a square you can figure it (features/uses) but most homeowners would not be able to figure out all the square features.

Novelty at best
Tries to be too many things and winds up being a piece of crap. The red part doesn’t stay attached unless you have one of the pegs screwed in. Problem is, the pegs get in the way of using it for any kind of measurement unless you’re using it like a ruler. I have a measuring tape, I need a speed square that works in all positions.

Just seems to gimmicky. Lots of features but to use it your fiddling around with it all the time. With a regular one you would just grab it and us it. This one your fiddling around with it amd possible for it to come apart and lose peices.
