I am about to tile my kitchen backsplash and I had never heard of these. They definitely aren’t going to break on you, they are very strong. For that reason, make sure you remove them before your adhesive is completely cured because they won’t just break off like the plastic ones. I like how reusable they are and sturdy. I do wish the product listing had an option to purchase the tool that you need for these even if it is an additional charge. I do like that you get 500 in a pack. I often see tile spacers that have only 100 so you have to buy a LOT of packs, but for some jobs, 500 will be enough.

Definitely worth it!
These are little steel T pins that help ensure a level installation. I’d actually never used them before, but I guess they’re a thing, and certainly not something to try to skip. This box of 500 is a great deal, too!
