Foam works well for tools
Used this foam on my toolbox to organize my hand tools and drill bits because I got tired of my bits getting mixed together with my other tools. The foam cuts easily if you are not using the precut pull out cubes. The pull out cubes work for most applications, but for pop some of my drill bits, I took a knife and made a slit to just fit it in between the foam slit. The pluck out foam is also on both sides of the foam. Good product overall for the price. You get four pieces

Thicc pluck foam sheet
I chose this to convert some simple, stackable boxes to an affordable miniature storage solution for Warhammer models. Overall, for that purpose, it’s gonna work just fine. Each sheet is about two inches thick. Each ‘pluckable’ square is about a half an inch square. Foam is medium density and feels good. It isn’t as easy to pick out each square as some other foams I’ve used and with such large squares you might have some negative space when plucking a space to accommodate smaller things, like models, but I don’t foresee that being an issue. The name of the game here is value. As I mentioned in reviews of similar products – picking this up and tossing it in a box of your choosing will save you HEAPS over a pre-made foam storage solution. Just a bit more work. That’s worth it to me, your mileage may vary.
