Why did you pick this product vs others?:These are very good pilot hole drills that cut a great hole for the plugs to go into. People need to quit whining about the drill bit durability in these things. The drill bits are midgrade and hold up fine if you take care of them. It is the countersink that holds the value. Anybody that has used these things very much knows that the drill bits are a consumable with a limited life span. The countersinks though are designed to last through several drill bits if you take care of them.Durability:The countersinks are very good quality. Last set I had of this quality lasted me for about 30 years and at least 15 drill bits per countersink. I expect the same out of these.

Sharp at a great price
Quality countersinks can be expensive. Unfortunately, it’s hard to know how long they will last and sometimes one drop and they are no good. I found these to be sharp, leave clean holes and so far last a good while. The price is right so you can keep an extra set on hand.

The countersink was good. But 3 of the 5 pilot bits were broke in half at the set screw.

So far, this has been the best counter sink drill bet set I ‘ve used. I’ve done woodworking for years and have used many different countersink sets. These cutters cut super clean and fast with no slip so far. Wish I had been using this from the beginning. Very happy with this item. This item is a Definite must have for wood working.
