Not made of cheap Steel.
Purchased to save my back! I was worried about it being made of cheep flimsy metal but that is not the case. I have had no issues with this item. I’m not even worried about it bending. The paint job has also stood up over time. Packaging was a bit excessive but it did protect the paint during shipping. Would definitely recommend to others for the price and build quality.

Can’t believe I have to leave this review
Good product, but I was so infuriated with how this arrived.They plastic wrap it so tight you need a razor to cut it off. Meaning you’ll leave cut marks on it. What’s the point of the wrap to protect it from unintentional damage so instead you make me intentionally damage it?And the big bulldog sticker is one of those crappy cheap stickers that leaves tons of residue. Seriously if you’re going to (probably) rebrand someone else’s metal rod with your sticker at least spend that extra 2 cents on a decent sticker that comes off cleanly.I can’t believe I had to spend 10+ minutes removing the packaging for a metal rod.
