Essential pump tools
The box isnât anything special. The latch in particular feels like the weak link. The packing pullers are a must have and these ones are great. Feels like just the right stiffness for shoving into the packing box to get the stuck rings. The corkscrews are plenty sharp to get out the plastic lantern ring if you push hard enough. If you deal with pump or valve gland packing. Get these.

Dull tips
All the tips including the screws were very dull. I usually replace them when they get that way. Luckily I have tips but will see if the pullers hold up. I am a service fitter and have been repairing pumps and valves for many years.

good quality extractor kit. came with a nice little toolbox.
So the extractor kit is quite nice, and it came with a decent little tool box for storing some additional related items. however their is a strong, clean, smell from the toolbox. much like Pool Shock Chlorine. so I’d recommend leaving it open outside for several days if you are sensitive to smells.
