Saves time when framing
Got this spacer so when I am doing big projects. This thing will save me lots of time from having to use a measuring tape all the time. And when you are by yourself it’s kind of tough to keep using the measuring tape over and over again. if you are a framer you know this to be so. This thing has saved me time and hassle and I believe it’s worth every penny. Very well made …welded and sturdy. I will use be using this for small jobs also just because of the convenience.

Solid time saver
Yes you can measure, but if you’re building a wall to stand up, this saves time and makes for more accurate spacing vs marking center with a tape measure. It snugly fits 2×4âs in and actually helps keep the boards from kicking over when using a nail gun which is a time saver from smacking them with a hammer after they move. I wish it had square corners and an actual measurement etched in it to use as a small stick measure. Pretty simple design and fairly light weight considering it’s made from sturdy materials.

Very Handy Framing Tool for DIY
I do a fair amount of DIY projects around my home and gentleman’s farm. This tool fit my 2x lumber just fine and appears to be heavy duty enough to do the job. Most of the illustrations show it being used with 2×4 lumber, but I was playing with it using some 2×6’s and can’t see why it would not work with them also. I have to figure out what my next project will be so that I can give it a real workout. Very pleased I got this.
