The pads last longer than expected
For the money this set is amazing. There are so many pieces in the box and I was surprised at how well they hold up when being used. I guessed when I saw them that the pads would fall apart and be done quickly but not the case with these. Held back a star because even though everything is organized perfectly I wish the case that holds everything was more sturdy.

Schon beim Auspacken merkt man, dass hier Wert auf Qualität gelegt wurde – alles ordentlich in einer robusten Aufbewahrungsbox verstaut und sofort einsatzbereit.Dank des 4-in-1-Anschlusssystems passte das Set ohne Probleme auf meinen Milwaukee-Akkuschleifer. Auch mit meinem DeWalt-Bohrschleifer funktioniert es perfekt. Der Scheibenwechsel ist dank Schnellwechsel-System werkzeuglos in Sekunden erledigt – sehr praktisch, wenn man verschiedene Materialien bearbeitet.Egal ob Rostentfernung am Auto, Kanten glätten an Holz oder feines Schleifen von Kunststoff – das Set liefert in allen Bereichen top Ergebnisse. Die Scheiben laufen vibrationsarm, setzen sich kaum zu und halten erstaunlich lange. Besonders die Zirkonoxid-CSD Scheiben sind ein Traum für härtere Materialien.Die Möglichkeit, 50mm Scheiben einfach auf 25mm zuzuschneiden, macht das Ganze noch flexibler. Mit den vielen verschiedenen Körnungen und Scheibentypen hat man für jede Arbeit das passende Zubehör – und muss nichts extra nachkaufen.

The first brown sanding disc I tried wore through pretty quickly, with the grit coming away from the backing, but I tried one of the blue ones after that and it lasted much better to take wood filler off a window (see my photos).This set comes with two shanks, and everything attaches just by screwing together, nut to shank, backing pad to shank/nut, and sanding disc to backing pad. You therefore have to use these with a clockwise drill so everything doesn’t come unscrewed in use.I found I got a lot of vibration when using these, which I think is because the discs are relatively small and light, and as they grab the surface you are sanding they tend to jump away or along the surface. But despite this I found them a labour-saving option compared to hand-sanding with sandpaper wrapped round a wooden block. Sanding is rarely a pleasure, but this set made it less of a chore to sand a window and window frame.I am not sure if you can buy refill discs for this, so although this set contains quite a few discs, once they are gone then if the screw-thread design is custom-designed for this set it might mean you need to buy a new case full, and get two more shanks and backing pads that you might not need.The whole lot comes in a big plastic case, which is useful to keep everything together, and the case closes and clips shut securely.
