There are times when you need to insert a screw or bolt, and there are a lot of different wary to do so. One way is to use rivnuts. Rivnuts are hollow tubes which are threaded on the inside. A mandrel or screw is inserted into the nut, then a tool attempts to pull the screw out, causing the rivnut to swell in the hole, permanently fixing the rivnut into the material. That is the purpose of this kit, and the tool does its work well, handling metric rivnuts from m3 to m12. It takes a lot of force and leverage to set a m12 nut, but this tool did it. The tool comes in a fitted blow-molded case with the mandrels, dies, tools, a multi-wrench and a variety of rivnuts. The only problem that I had was that the single-sided sheet of instructions were in German.
