   Great Spring Clamp Set!!
   When performing maintenance on my many and varied yard equipment, I am amazed at the number and variety of hose clamp devices that can be found even on one machine. I prefer the spring type hose clamps because of their efficiency and functionality. This collection of a variety of size clamps gives flexibility to secure a hose over a variety fuel, oil or hydraulic line connections even on the same machine. The included with the set is a specialized plier tool which makes the job even easier where before a regular set of pliers was used with mixed results. Now I am ready for any type of hose clamp challenge on my equipment!

   It’s a good complete set
   That said, I gave it four stars due to the tool. It’s fine, it works but really only on the larger clamps. I have an old KD Tool spring clamp tool and it has a more shallow cup for the legs of the clamp. This allows the clamp to be opened a little more making installation easier. You can still use slip joint, needle nose or water pump pliers. Yes, they can slip and make your swear jar fill up but these with the kit will hold it solidly. It’s just restricted by clamp size.

   Worked exactly as described
   I found these to be exactly what I needed. Specifically I had a small 6.5mm windshield washer tubing that had a small leak. It was easy to pop on the clip. The tool provided was actually much better than I had read in previous reviews. And using it was easy once I figured out the correct way round to hold the clips. The tool has two different faces, get the right one on the clips and it holds great, have it 180 degrees and the clips will slip off the tool. The picture they provide shows the right way to hold the clips. I can’t speak to the quality of the clips or their longevity at this time. None the less, very pleased with the purchase and it does a cracking good job. Excellent value for such a lifesaver tool

   Works way better than hose clamps! You need these!!
   Has lots of really useful connectors. Pliers work really well but the ratchet clamp that is part of the tool could be better. Doesn’t stay closed by itself. All of the sizes of clamps needed I’ve gotten in this kit. Great value!! Has worked great for water and vacume lines.

   Installed a fuel filter on a new carb install on a chipper/shredder which didn’t have one initially and it was easy to find the right size. The tool is a little awkward. Might be just as easy with some thick pliers.
