    Perfect for packing
Exactly what we needed. We use these when packaging cool items with ice blocks. The foam sheets really help to protect the items while providing a good insulation to keep them cool. Great size and easy to use. The only thing that I would suggest would be to place them in a box. They come just in a plastic bag and they are so light that when you go to get one, the entire bag comes with the one you grab.

    Great Dish and Packing/Moving Protectors
I have several dish sets that I value, mainly for sentimental reasons (holiday and other special occasions), and I try to prevent chipping by using these foam divider sheets when storing these dishes. These sheets are good sized, two does a platter, 4 does a very large chop plate (ensuring that all portions of the plate are covered), one will protect a dinner plate whereas one for a salad plate or bowl is overly large (but large enough to fold under if you prefer). These are a good price, get the job done, and have other uses such as for packing purposes (I use them for everything that I want protected), and other small/valued items. They are separate individual sheets, not perforated which is much better for quick packing (and oftentimes the perforated rip when pulling one off the roll). These do not rip easily and are not too thick. I’ve used thick ones before and whereas they were good for dish separation they were awful (too stiff) for wrapping and protecting glasses, bowls, crystal, small decorator items, etc. I’ll likely buy again. Lastly, they are savable. When I unpack a dish barrel of dishes to use for a holiday, i save the dividers and use again and again…..they don’t turn to dust or lose consistency like some do.

As a business owner specializing in crafting and jewelry, I’ve had my fair share of experiences with various packing materials, striving to find the perfect balance between protection, cost, and environmental impact. Recently, I decided to try the 100 Pack of DAT 12″ x 12″, 1/16″ Thick Foam Sheets, hoping they would meet my unique needs for both storing delicate pieces and shipping them safely to customers. Here’s my moderate review, based on firsthand use.**Pros:**- **Size and Thickness:** The 12″ x 12″ size of each sheet is quite convenient, fitting most of my jewelry and small crafts without the need for cutting or wasting material. The 1/16″ thickness, while thin, provides a basic layer of protection for less fragile items, making it suitable for short-distance shipments or as an added layer in more complex packaging solutions.- **Quantity:** With 100 sheets per pack, I found myself well-stocked for a significant number of shipments. This bulk packaging is cost-effective, reducing the need for frequent reorders and ensuring I always have materials on hand for unexpected orders.**Cons:**- **Protection Level:** For my more delicate or high-value items, the 1/16″ thickness doesn’t always offer sufficient protection. I’ve had to double or triple-wrap pieces, especially those with sharp edges or components that could easily be pressed through the foam during handling. This somewhat diminishes the cost-effectiveness if you’re using it for finer goods.- **Environmental Considerations:** As someone who is increasingly conscious of my environmental footprint, I’m always on the lookout for sustainable packaging options. While foam sheets are effective, they aren’t the most eco-friendly choice. I would prefer a product that offers a similar level of protection but with a lower environmental impact.**Mixed Feelings:**- **Versatility:** While the sheets are versatile and can be used for a range of products, their one-size approach means they’re not always the best fit for every item. Customization requires cutting, which can be time-consuming and sometimes wasteful.- **Ease of Use:** The sheets are easy to handle and wrap around items, which is a plus. However, securing them requires tape or another adhesive, which can add to the packing time and cost.**Final Thoughts:**The DAT 12″ x 12″ Foam Sheets have been a moderate success in my crafting business. They offer a basic level of protection and are cost-effective for certain uses, but they fall short when it comes to more delicate or high-value items. Additionally, the environmental impact of using foam is a consideration that weighs on me, pushing me to continue exploring more sustainable options. For fellow crafting business owners and jewelers, these foam sheets can be a useful addition to your shipping and storage solutions, especially for less fragile items. However, I recommend assessing the specific needs of your products and considering the balance between protection, cost, and environmental responsibility before making them a staple in your packaging materials.
