Fair prive for a limited use tool – no issues – worked as expected.
Inexpensive step bit used to drill out a few holes for trailer hitch install. Unsure on longevity but worked without issue on two 1 1/8 holes I needed. Fair price and helped me get the job done. I believe the bit has more life in it and I’m sure it will get used in the future for jobs here & there. Good general use tool, would buy higher end if I used these all the time.

    Decent quality tool.
Used this to make a new soap dispenser hole in our old stainless steel kitchen sink. Went right through, no issues. Seems like it’s pretty decent quality.

Works if you don’t need too many holes drilled
Worked great at first, but didn’t last as long as I would have liked. It started getting dull making it difficult to continue to use. At first it was nice and quick cutting through thin metal, but after a few holes it got slower and slower. There wasn’t a wobble to it, so that was good. I like the size variety, but when the smaller sizes start getting dull, it’s harder to use to get to the bigger sizes.

Great addition to my tool box!
I needed this bit to install some electronics on my boat. The bit operated as expected and the holes were perfect. I searched the two big box hardware stores for this bit and both had it at 2-3 times the cost. The quality of this bit is great and it is a great value. I highly recommend.

I needed a large hole in a jon boat to fit a bilge pump discharge hose, this worked great.

Good price for a step bit
Used it to put holes in fire barrels and it went right through the metal.

Good everyday knife, but edge retention is lacking
Good everyday knife, but edge retention is lackingThis ZELCAN knife feels solid in the hand with decent balance and weight. Out of the box it came sharp enough for typical household tasks—opening packages, light food prep, and small DIY projects. The handle has a straightforward, no-frills design that’s comfortable enough for short use.Where it fell short for me was the blade’s edge retention. It dulls fairly quickly, even with light use, meaning it needs frequent honing or sharpening to keep it performing well. For someone who only uses a knife occasionally, this may not be a big issue, but if you expect it to hold an edge over time, it can be frustrating.Bottom line: A serviceable budget knife that does the job but loses sharpness faster than I’d like. Best for casual or light use, not heavy-duty cutting.

Maybe for thinner material , but not steel
This step drill could not get the job done. I bought this tool for one specific purpose, to drill 4 total, one inch holes in a 3/16 thick A500 steel square tube (somewhat mild steel).I did modify the diameter in a circular grinding fixture to remove the largest hole sizes and have a long step at the one inch size. BUT:After drilling a pilot start hole, the cutter worked reasonably well until it got near 1/3 to 5/8 inch diamter, then slowed down considerably . Pleenty of cutting oil and low drill speeds, but it never got near one inch. Part of the problem was I was trying to drill through 3/16 inch thick steel, but this is very mild steel and east to drill.I knew I would be safer with a step drill instead of a reduced shank twist drill, but the step drill lost some of it’s titanium coating on the smaller steps before getting to one inch.I had to buy another style hole drill (TCT hole drill), and that drill did the job well.
