   Great 5-minute lock!
   I want to preface this by saying NO lock will give you perfect security. This isn’t for locking your Van Gough to your Porsche while you are out of the country.But if you have realistic expectations, there’s very little to dislike about this lock. It’s reasonable sturdy, and the two parts hang together even when unlocked, making it much easier to handle and arguably harder to pick. Setting your own code is trivial, and I like being able to tweak the numbers from the back side while leaving the front digits visible.I had issues getting it between some VERY tight spokes on a scooter, but you can (with effort/alcohol) remove the shackle liner and the loop is painted so there’s some scratch protection.Recommended!

   LOVE THIS LOCK!
   I used to have the amazer lock – I loved it and it lasted me almost a year. Unfortunately, the little cover on top of the lock was very sticky. Sometimes, when it was cold, I couldn’t undo my lock because I couldn’t access the combination lock portion. I got this one to replace it – I absolutely love it. The only downside is that you have to lock the lock when you carry it around to get it to hold together. I’ve found this doesn’t really bother me, especially given the price point and given the fact that with the old lock I couldn’t unlock half of the time. If you’re looking for a reliable, cheap bike lock, this is it!

   Maybe not the stongest but a nice lock
   I like this lock because it’s easy to use and lightweight. Other U-locks I’ve used are heavy, adding pounds to your ride, have sticky dials which hard to use when locked in an awkward position. Some are hard to program and require a special pin I’m sure to lose. This may not be the most theft-proof – I don’t know if any of them really are – but very suitable for lower risk situations.

   light weight , easy turning of combination numbers, but I am sure a hammer can take it out …
   light weight , easy turning of combination numbers, but … I am sure a hammer would easily take it out.So,I use it every weekend during the day, because its so light and easy to use.Please buy a much more sturdy lock for over night use , especially on an expensive bike.But , I am Very pleased with its deterent factor and ease of use.Was going to rate it a 4 0f 5, but for its price and proper place of usage , set it to five star.
