One man LP siding install
Saved me tons of time installing LP Smartside. Worked well. Might put a little block at the resting point to help solve the issues of the tool pulling away a little when fully clamped. This was an occaisonal problem but not a big deal.

These fiber cement siding tools are great for 3 different sizes. They send a 2 other spacers so you can do 3/8 and 7/16 thickness. Great product

Gets the job done fast without leveling every single sheet of siding.
Absolutely a life saver. Don’t over tighten them or the siding will slip away but follow directions and works like a charm. Super easy and worth every penny in hours saved. I could do siding myself with these.

Warning
Like others have said, when these tools are clamped down, it creates a large gap that enables the siding to fall past the guage stop. It defeats the purpose of the tool. I rated 5 stars only to get to the top of the reviews. This is not a five star product!

doesn’t work like described.
The tool pulls away from the wall and the siding slips between the tool and the panel below it. These aren’t the greatest tool and don’t perform as described in the description. These are for up to 8 inch siding and 6 feet long panels. Six foot panels are hard to find, so you would need several sets if you were going to use this with longer boards.
