    Sewing Paterns
Even though I classify myself as a proficient dressmaker I have never drafted nor altered the design of a pattern. This book explains and tells you everything that you need to know and I would definitely recommend to anyone – beginner or professional. It is well written and the pictures help explain what to do.

    Great pattern making book.
I had to have this book once I had it from the library. It is a great updated pattern design and making directions. Is age appropriate with out being too old fashioned or retro. I haven’t used the book to see if her directions are clear or easy to understand, but at this point I already know how to block patterns and change them to my liking. I use this type of book for a reference on where to begin a change or for ideas on how to get the basic start for my pattern design and pattern building. The content is visual and done very well. Well done. Worth the expense. Jnetti.

I love “Pattern Cutting Primer” for the concise
I expected different information from this book than what is in “Pattern Cutting Primer”. I love “Pattern Cutting Primer” for the concise, easy to find information. If I had purchased “Pattern Making Primer” first, I would probably be saying the same thing about it. The two books just repeat too much of the same information.

This book is rather elementary to me and I have passed it on to my granddaughter. It has very good illustrations to teach a beginner how to stitch.
