   Durable and functional tool belt can even hold cordless tools
   The VIDAR tool belt is a great addition if you do any electrical or construction work. The size is “just right” to make it comfortable if worn in different locations as you do work, and with enough loops, pouches and attachment options to let you use it in many ways. This entire bag is well-constructed, with heavy material, thick seams and strong stitching. It is built like a tank so it should hold up well to rough handling. I experimented and found I could jam a cordless drill and oscillating tool in the pouch, and they stayed put, which is nice when doing work on a ladder.The small pouch is detached from the main bag on the bottom, which helps as you reach in and grab screws or nails. My other bag had that pouch fully attached and that made it difficult to get something out of the pouch when on ladder. The built in magnet for holding loose screws, nails or other small metal items sounded useful. However, it is a small weak magnet in only one small area, so it only works for holding a few screws.The hammer hanging loop is very strong. Much better than ones that have a leather loop. The leather loop gets twisted around the handle and the friction causes it to be really annoying to put in and out. This hanging loop is a polished metal loop which makes it easy to hang and remove hammers without looking. Really nice.The tape measure holding plate is nicely riveted and super strong.The waist belt is wide and strong, with a traditional belt style, and metal grommets for dual belt attachment pins. I guess that is the only area I think might have been improved. The belt stops provide good adjustability, but a more modern adjustable strap with click release tabs would have made it more adjustable and quicker to attach/detach. However, I had no problem attaching it and holes provide adequate sizing. In fact, the belt is very long, supporting large waists or attaching over clothing. There is no belt loop to hold the tail, so instead you put the tail through the bag strap channel and then rotate the bag to the correct location instead. That is actually a nice design and takes advantage of the way the bag has entire top as channel for the bag rather than having loops that the belt goes through.Only improvement would have been to have one other small pouch with a Velcro top, to hold small parts and not have to mix them with others in the other pouch area.For $24, this is excellent value for the price

   Top notch and affordable funtional work pouch, lightweight packed full of features
   I have to admit I was skeptical when I ordered this tool pouch but took a chance as most of the tool related items I have ordered in the past are decent enough quality to not feel as if I were getting ripped off. This tool pouch is actually a cut above the rest. The design is top notch for functionality as well as mobility. I have worked on many construction projects small as well as very large commercial projects and this pouch is something special.The pockets on this are actually functional and allow you to carry various tools and supplies of various types and sizes. There are multiple sized pockets all over so you really don’t need a tool bag or another pouch on most jobs. Obviously this is meant to be worn while being able to work so you can’t really weight it down too much with excessive tools due to its size. This allows movement as if it is just another piece of clothing which matters when you are on ladders or roofs or similar. The smaller the pouch the less likely it will get caught on things or set you off balance.Even though this is smaller than a tool bag it can carry all the most important tools, has a hammer loop, place for nails/screws in an easy to access front pocket, which also has a strong magnet on the outside here to allow you to carry a small amount of important screws or nails for easy/quick access. Perfect when you’re hanging things and need an extra hand to hold something. Trying to dig around while holding things or on ladders is not the coolest, so I appreciate the magnet on the front. Reminds me of magnet gloves… any ways.The materials are all nice and good quality. The fabric is sturdy and well woven and thick with good stitching. The metal and plastic parts are all good quality and the buckle is decent, not the most durable, as the eye holes in the belt are sorta cheap as well as the belt itself, but isn’t bad enough to merit a drop in score. I’ve owned several of these types of pouches and my favorite hands down are nice leather ones. While this does not have that same expensive and luxury feel of the leather ones I’ve owned, it does function just as well or even better as this has way more features. Features that would be difficult and expensive to work into leather products.All in all I like this pouch. The color goes well with anything and it just works like it should. That means a lot these days as a lot of products look like they will function well but once you get them, you can see where they cut corners or cheaped out on the design. This is not one of those. It is true to its description and deserves its 5 stars. Well made and a super fair price.
