    Great price with free shipping.
Light weight, flexible, accurate, conveniently sized. Low reflectivity and etched graduations make it easy to read. 15mm width for those interested in using it for Japanese joinery layout. Over all, a good tool with a well considered design.

    Love this little guy
I find myself using this guy every day in my woodworking. It’s such a handy size compared to Shinwa’s larger carpenter squares (which I love as well). This little guy is accurate and square. Great tool! Highly recommend.

Top quality square at unbeatable price
Shinwa rulers and squares have a well-deserved reputation. Even more surprising is that they are offered at prices that are a fraction of the competition. This square is 90 degrees (measured with a square with .0001″ precision), light, but solid. The scale is engraved in the metal and is well-legible. Totally recommended.

    Nice, Unusual Square
Shinwa items are generally well made, and this really does not disappoint. However, I would have preferred a wider blade, and the edge could a been dressed better. Also, it was a little bigger than I really wanted. Some of these points I suspected when I ordered it, but thought I would give is a try. In the end, I like many of the Shinwa products more than this one, but that should not discourage anyone from purchasing this if it fulfills a need.

    Efficient and useful
I purchased this square as I watched highly skilled Japanese woodworkers use these in a very efficient manner. Now that I have one and used it. I do find it very useful and hope to be more skillful in the future. I think most people would find it very useful.

Square was defective out of the gate. Made in China.

    Minimalist square for hand-tool woodworking.

    Accurate tool
It is a great square for the money. I have a 45 degree marking tool from the same manufacturer and very happy with it. This is no exception. I checked it against my Starrett and it is dead on accurate.
