    The accuracy king
For high detail and precise wood work, this is awsome. This and it’s larger versions are stable in my builds. Short of a CNC, this make precise marking possible for very accurate projects.

Excellent, excellent tool. This is now my new go-to layout and marking tool in my woodworking shop.
I’ve watched a ton of woodworking videos of a couple amazingly talented Japanese craftsmen over the years. I noticed they both use this type of tool marking their wood and wondered how well they work. Now I know. They work absolutely excellent. I’m using the 14″ version now. I’m so happy with it that I just ordered the 8″ version. It will be my new go-to layout tool in my woodworking shop.

    Well made, quality materials.
Very good quality, anodized aluminium, lightweight but strong, accurate, a good tool for layout in woodworking. The rigth angles are accurate enough for woodwork.

    Made in America…it is Not.
I have had This tool for 3 months. Once you get use to where the “0” markings are when measuring…you can’t seem to put it down. Marking/caliber/depth/height and some, are all in this tool. The model I got doesn’t have the adjusted plastic screw…but it slides with no side to side.It does speed up measuring [once you understand where the *0* marking is for what you’re using the tool for].I tested for square over a sheet of plywood…(drawer a line…then flip…it met the 1st line exactly. I have a Harvey T-square and it failed this test for square one the sheet.I like the tool…would recommend as well.

Mine didnt have the gauge. Just a piece that looked like one
I like its accuracy but I didnt get a gauge. Just something that looks like one. I actually bought it for the gauge but cant do anything with it. Would have given it 5 stars if it did. It wasnt assembled with the gauge on it and I thought it was at the bottom of the box.. nope just something that looks like one but isnt graduated. Many months late on discovering that. Bummer

    Not square
I was pleased with the apparent quality of the Device. I used it a few times and it seemed pretty well made. When I started making longer measurements the error in the square became more pronounced. Unsure if this is a defect in the unit I received or if its overall quality control that is present in all. Anyway, I have a $70 ruler now because it is out of square and can’t trust it to create parallel lines as I intended it for.

Easy to use for drawing lines on projects. Measurements markings on edge is useful too. No problem with caliper markings.
